Teviron Products Meets the Requirements of Oeko Tex Std 100 Certified
Oeko-Tex™ is an internationally renowned independent textile testing and research organisation with 15 research and testing institutes in Europe and Japan, and representative agencies globally. Oeko-Tex™ member institutes perform extensive testing to ensure that no substances are present that could harm humans.
Oeko Tex® Standard 100 is an international Certification That Sets Limits for Over 100 Harmful Chemicals, Substances, and Emissions in Textiles.
It`s the only valid certification of its kind and tests for compounds ranging from harmful heavy metals like lead and arsenic, to many known allergy-inducing and irritating chemicals. The list includes pesticides, phthalates, dyes and VOC emissions.
The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 test certifies that a fabric passes the following performance criteria standards:
-Textile does not contain allergenic dye stuffs and dye stuffs that form carcino genic arylamines of the MAK-groups III A1 and III A2.
-Textiles that do not carry pesticides and chlorinated phenols.
-Textiles that have been tested for the release of heavy metals under artificial perspiration conditions.
-Textiles free from formaldehyde or containing trace amounts significantly lower than the required legal limits.
-Textiles with a skin friendly pH.
-Textiles free from chloro-organic carriers.
These fabrics have been thoroughly tested to this standard and have been granted the authorization to proudly display the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 label.
So you can rest comfortably knowing that you and your family are safe wearing our Teviron products.
